Lowenstein Elected to Represent the 4th Circuit

Vandeventer Black LLP is pleased to announce that partner Neil Lowenstein was recently elected by his peers of the Fourth Judicial Circuit as Council to the Virginia State Bar. According to the Virginia State Bar website, Lowenstein received the majority of the 217 votes cast in the election. The Council has general charge of the administration of the Virginia State Bar, which is an administrative agency of the Supreme Court of Virginia whose mission is to (1) regulate the legal profession of Virginia; (2) to advance the availability and quality of legal services provided to the people of Virginia; and (3) to assist in improving the legal profession and the judicial system. Lowenstein currently chairs Vandeventer Black’s Construction and Government Contracts Law Group, and is active with various other organizations both within and outside of the law, including multiple construction trade associations and charitable organizations, having served in various leadership positions with them.
