Dustin concentrates his practice in Workers’ Compensation defense. He works with insurance carriers and self-insured employers defending workers’ compensation claims filed pursuant to the Virginia Workers’ Compensation Act and the Defense Base Act.  Dustin resides in Northern Virginia and represents clients throughout the Commonwealth.

Dustin received his Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law where he served as a senior editor on the Canada-U.S. Law Journal and a managing editor for the War Crimes Prosecution Watch. While in law school, Dustin also served as a judicial extern in Ohio’s 8th District Court of Appeals and as a law clerk with the Ohio Attorney General’s Office. After law school, Dustin represented the Commonwealth in Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court as a post-graduate fellow with Hampton’s Commonwealth Attorney’s Office. Prior to law school, Dustin earned his Bachelor of Science (with Honors) in Legal Studies from American Military University while serving as an active duty member of the United States Marine Corps.

Since joining WRVB, Dustin has been recognized by Top Lawyers of Coastal Virginia as a “Workers’ Compensation Rising Star” (2021 – present). He has also received awards from the Virginia State Bar and the South Hampton Roads Bar Association for his work in the local and legal communities. Dustin is an avid sports fan and spends his free time visiting museums with son, Cassius.
