Ray W. King is a member of the firm’s Business Law Practice Group, focusing his practice on commercial real estate, real estate litigation and business transactions.
His commercial real estate practice encompasses all aspects of commercial real estate transactions including representing clients in the purchase, sale, financing and defeasance of office buildings, office parks, shopping centers, industrial properties, apartment complexes, and marinas in the eastern United States.
Mr. King regularly represents borrowers in the closing of securitized or “CMBS” loans secured by commercial real estate for loans ranging from $2.0Mil. to $100Mil. Mr. King has worked with loan servicers and special servicers in the assumption of securitized or “CMBS” loans. Mr. King has experience managing and leading the legal team real estate transactions that included multiple commercial properties located in several states. In addition to handling the foreclosure of commercial real estate securing loans. Mr. King represents lenders in loan modifications and workouts of troubled loans.
He also provides legal counsel for a variety of commercial and corporate transactions.
