Ray W. King focuses his practice on commercial real estate, real estate litigation and commercial foreclosures. His commercial real estate practice encompasses all aspects of commercial real estate transactions including representing clients in the purchase, sale, ﬁnancing and defeasance of high rise ofﬁce buildings, ofﬁce parks, shopping centers and apartment complexes in the eastern United States.
Mr. King regularly represents borrowers in the closing of securitized or “CMBS” loans secured by commercial real estate for loans ranging from $2.0 mil. to
$100 mil. Mr. King has worked with loan servicers and special servicers in the assumption of securitized or “CMBS” loans. In addition to handling the foreclosure of commercial real estate securing loans, Mr. King represents lenders in loan modiﬁcations and workouts of troubled loans.
He also provides legal counsel for a variety of commercial and corporate transactions. His real estate litigation practice includes representing condemnation authorities in eminent domain proceedings and resolving title claim matters.
