For the past 17 years, Vandeventer Black LLP has been a proud sponsor of the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore, raising more than $150,000 to benefit local communities. The firm has participated in the statewide food bank fundraising event, ‘Legal Food Frenzy,’ since its inception.
This year marks the 8th occasion in which Vandeventer Black wins the Large Firm (per capita) group. The firm raised a total of 328 pounds of food per person and over $15,300 for this year’s annual Legal Food Frenzy. These donations will provide 38,556 meals to families in need.
“We are always determined to provide a helping hand to such an honorable organization like the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore,” said Michael L. Sterling, Managing Partner.
The law firm was presented ‘The Chesapeake Bay Blue Crab Award’ during the 2019 Legal Food Frenzy Awards Reception held at the Office of the Attorney General.
