Norfolk, VA. (November 20, 2014) – Vandeventer Black’s Bryant McGann has been selected as one of Virginia Lawyers Media’s “Leaders in the Law” for 2014, the prestigious awards program from the publishers of Virginia Lawyers Weekly.
“We are proud of Bryant’s outstanding contributions to the practice of law,” said Michael Sterling, managing partner for Vandeventer Black LLP. “We’re excited that he’s been recognized for significant achievements in our field and important contributions to communities in Virginia.”
McGann has worked with Vandeventer Black for 28 years, and his practice areas include Banking & Finance; Business; Commercial Real Estate; Creditors’ Rights, Bankruptcy & Collections; as well as Transportation law. He is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College and the University of Virginia School of Law.
Now in its ninth year, this awards program recognizes the lawyers across the commonwealth who are setting the standard for other lawyers in Virginia. “Leaders” are recognized for changing the law, serving the community, changing practice or improving Virginia’s justice system, among other accomplishments. The honorees were celebrated at a reception on October 23 at the Science Museum of Virginia in Richmond. The “Leader of the Year,” voted by the Class of 2014 honorees, was announced at this reception.
