NORFOLK, VA. The law offices of Vandeventer Black LLP are pleased to announce that F. Nash Bilisoly was elected Chair of the Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority Board of Commissioners at the November 13, 2013 monthly meeting.
Bilisoly joined the NRHA board in 2009 and replaces retiring chair W. Sheppard Miller, III, who served for 12 years.
Barbara Hamm Lee was re-elected Vice Chair. She was appointed to the board in 2010 and is Chief Creative Services Officer for WHRO-TV.
“Nash has been a very astute board member and is well positioned to take the helm of the NRHA ship,” said NRHA CEO Shurl Montgomery.” “He and Barbara will make a great leadership team.”

Bilisoly’s law practice concentrates on maritime disability and insurance coverage issues. He is Chair of Stevedores, Marine Terminals and Vessel Services Committee of the Maritime Law Association of the United States and a member of the Tulane Admiralty Law Institute National Advisory Board.
In the community, Bilisoly is on the Board of the Hermitage Museum Foundation and serves on Norfolk Mayor Paul Fraim’s Commission on Poverty Reduction. Bilisoly holds a B.A. from College of William & Mary and J.D. from Tulane University School of Law.
